Learn To Skate

Non Resident: $60.00      Brownstown Resident: $55.00

Each 7 week session will consists of a 30 minute on ice instruction. Testing will be done on the sixth week.

Our learn to skate program is an excellent introduction to ice skating. Our coaches are registered with the United States Figure Skating Association and have backgrounds with hockey and figure skating. Skaters will learn, in a fun and exciting way, the basic skills needed to enjoy all aspects of skating, whether it be youth hockey, figure skating, or just for fun.

Students should dress in warm loose clothing that will not restrict their movements along with a pair of gloves. Protective headgear is strongly recommended for all beginner skaters. Skate rental is available if a student doesn't have their own skates. Skaters should arrive at the rink 15 minutes before class All registered students will receive a pass, valid throughout the session, which will enable them to attend free sessions of open skating to practice their skills.

Beginners thru Basic 8 
THURSDAY - Class times are: 
5:00: Snowplow 1,2,3
5:40: Basic 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and Freestyle 1-6

Beginner Hockey Skating
Learn Basic Hockey Skating, Stopping, Edges and Backward Skating
THURSDAY Class times are 5:00 pm
Hockey equipment not required.
Helmet recommended, no sticks

Advance Registration required - Limited Class size - Next session begins September 16, 2010.
